Slap The Bass Mugs
Description: Gatekeepers gonna gatekeep. For anyone tired of self-appointed scene hall monitors dictating who gets to be "punk." Riffing on the internet trolls constantly lecturing about what is and isn't allowed in the subculture, this design pairs classic horror-punk slap-bass attitude with the ultimate absurdity: fashion police etiquette. Features a wild-eyed, flat-topped bass slapper dropping the hammer on arbitrary scene rules. Because if there’s one thing a real rebel can't stand, it’s being told how to think, live, or dress!
Description: Before slap bass became a language of its own, Larry Graham was already rewriting the rhythm. The Thunder in the Thumb celebrates the explosive spirit of 1970s Oakland funk, where deep bass grooves, fearless stage presence, and thumping four-string rhythms changed the sound of popular music. Inspired by the golden era of Graham Central Station, this original vintage-style illustration combines gritty soul concert graphics, bold funk typography, and heavily distressed screen-print textures. A tribute to the unmistakable groove that helped shape generations of bass players, funk musicians, and rhythm lovers.
