Smartphone Zombie Mugs
Description: Smartphone zombie or ‘Smombie’ has been used in popular culture to describe pedestrians who walk slowly and without attention to their surroundings because they are focused upon their smartphone. Safety hazards have been noted due to such distracted pedestrians. A 2017 review considered the popular culture term in regards to the medical diagnoses of internet addiction disorder and other forms of digital media overuse.
Description: Sisyphus looking at his phone while pushing the rock uphill. The endless scrolling itself ... is not enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Sisyphus bored. This design works well with dark (and some light) t-shirts. A version with inverted colours designed specifically for light t-shirts is also available in my shop.
Description: A decaying green zombie hand bursts through a cracked smartphone screen in this darkly humorous warning about digital addiction. Purple lightning and shattered glass add a horror-inspired energy that speaks to digital detox advocates, parents limiting screen time, and fans of dark humor. This bold scene is a reminder not to become a screen zombie.
