Sub Mugs
Description: yrax debuts in Mortal Kombat 3 as a member of the Lin Kuei clan of assassins along with Sub-Zero, Sektor, and Smoke. When the clan decide to utilize modern technology by converting its members into soulless cyborgs, Sub-Zero refuses and defects, which leads to the clan's grandmasters marking him for death. As a result, Cyrax, along with Sektor, and Smoke, are assigned to hunt down and kill him.
Description: Subvert: Sub Sandwich Thrower — A sharp parody depicts a masked protester hurling not a weapon, but a sun sandwich—turning rebellion into serious satire. The contrast between militant stance and absurd object underscores how power, protest, and meaning can be distorted. In America today, ICE’s violations of due process and Trump—the Grifter in Chief—mirror this distortion. Just as the sandwich symbolizes distraction, corporate media often feeds us misinformation and half-truths, dulling outrage and masking corruption. It is a cautionary call to question the narratives we are served.
Description: Sub Specie Aeternitatis is a Latin phrase meaning “under the aspect of eternity” or “from the perspective of the eternal.” From philosopher Baruch Spinoza, it refers to a universal, objective viewpoint.
