You can see this marina animal at open sea when you visit Cendrawasih bay or Triton bay in West Papua. I create this digital illustration of whaleshark to raise awareness among all of us about the importance of preserving marine environment from domestic and industrial wastes, particularly plastic, metals and other toxic materials. The simplest thing that we could do is reducing the use of plastics in our daily life
Description: This is a male Lesser Bird of Paradise (Paradisaea minor) that lives in tropical rainforest of New Guinea island (West Papua and Papua New Guinea). The bird plays important role in preserving rainforest environment because it disperse seeds of fruits that it eats to all corners of the forest. The population of the paradise is being threatened by the rapid conversion of forest into farmland, roads, hunting, monoculture plantation and human settlements. I made this drawing to raise awareness among all of us about the importance of preserving the rainforest.
