Description: World War History is a monochrome design featuring a pilot helmet from the World War era. The unique detail lies at the center of the helmet’s forehead, where the numbers 1939–1945 are written in pink, melting like dripping blood over the helmet’s surface. This visual serves as a powerful symbol of history, sacrifice, and the tragedy of war, a reminder of the human cost behind every battle.
Description: Organized class-conscious workers are all that's needed to rid the earth of the parasitic capitalist class. This political cartoon was originally from the May 1938 edition of The One Big Union Monthly, a monthly publication by the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW). I have completely digitized, redrawn, and refinished this work of art, as well as rewritten the text for the sake of legibility - for the sake of preserving and archiving this important piece of labor history. The IWW still exists today, and if this political cartoon still rings true to you, even nearly a century after it's original publishing, you should consider looking up your local IWW chapter. Description: Played high above sea level and etched into football folklore, Mexico ’86 belonged to Maradona. The Hand of God. The solo run from halfway that felt unreal even as it happened. This was a World Cup of extremes — brilliance and controversy, grit and genius, all under the same scorching sky. Stadiums shook, narratives hardened, and football leaned fully into myth-making. Mexico ’86 wasn’t just a tournament, it was a reminder that one player, one moment, can bend the entire game around them.
Description: This was originally an engraving titled "Portraits of the Haymarket Martyrs" by Walter Crane in memorial of those that fought for an eight hour work day on May 4, 1886 at Haymarket Square in Chicago. I have refinished and digitized this century-old design into modern fidelity for printing. This version is in color, but the original was just in black and white - which is also available in the store.

Description: "We know he won't join the union, but how about you? Join the I.W.W" This design comes from an IWW stickerette from 1923. The ugly ape-looking creature that we know won't join the IWW is a scab, and that character is used to represent scabs in many IWW posters and agitators from that era. I have redrawn, recolored, refinished, and digitized this art in order to preserve this important piece of labor history. Check out more of my art and products at https://spacedoglaika.com/

Description: One of the many quotable line from Mel Brooks' History of the World part 1. Josephus, played by the late Gregory Hines in his first cinematic role, was intended for Brooks' good friend Richard Pryor. Hines not only nailed the role but also received a large amount of most hilarious moments like the eunuch test and the mighty joint smokescreen.

Description: Late nights. Blue seats. Sun-bleached stadiums and shadows stretching across the pitch. Gazza’s tears. Schillaci’s eyes wide with disbelief. Football slowed down — darker, more dramatic, more human. Every match felt heavy with history, every moment soaked in tension. This one’s a nod to the summer when football felt cinematic. When style mattered as much as substance. When the game lived in the spaces between silence and eruption.
Description: Archaeology is the foundation of studying history, prehistory and our ancient past. From Pompeii in Ancient Rome, Knossos & Akrotiri, Santorini and Ancient Greece and Archaeological digs in Egypt, we have learned a lot of ancient & classical history. This Archaeology World Tour design is a funny gift for the archaeologist who studies history & past cultures from Mesopotamia & the Mediterranean to pre Columbian Mesoamerica.
