Petroleum is not just used in cars. You can find it in basic everyday items like plastic, detergent, rubber, paint, pesticide, photographic film, makeup, candles and many types of medicine. Nonetheless, Petroleum is toxic and its extraction fuels climate change. We should use it wisely but still fight for renewable energies and alternatives to plastic. Now, alongside Petroleum extraction, cow farts have a big impact on our climate. This is yet another reason for us to make little changes in our lives.
