Rame Head Number of views as of 8th October 2018 = 1480. Close to the village of Rame in south-east Cornwall and just west of Plymouth Sound, this coastal headland is often the first sight of land for sailors arriving at Plymouth. A hill fort during the Iron Age, the head is topped by the shell of a small chapel dedicated to St Michael, the patron saint of sea-farers. Date: 25th October 2011. Rame Head is a coastal headland, southwest of the village of Rame in southeast Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. Whitsand Bay, situated in south east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom runs from Rame Head in the east to Portwrinkle in the west. It is characterised by sheer, high cliffs, dramatic scenery and long stretches of sandy beaches. The South West Coast Path runs the length of the bay.

The Voyage Number of views as of 10th November 2016 = 250. A sailing boat sets out across Whitsand Bay under a threatening sky, having left behind the safety of Plymouth Sound, heading along the Cornish coast towards Falmouth. Cawsand & Kingsand Number of views as of 13th June 2019 = 380. Cawsand and Kingsand are twin, adjacent villages on the Rame Peninsula in South East Cornwall (UK) overlooking Plymouth Sound. The villages have a history of fishing and smuggling, though the known smuggling tunnels have long since been sealed up. The clock tower along the seafront was built to commemorate the coronation of King George V. There is rather more scaffolding in evidence than would normally be the case. This is due to repairs being carried out after this stretch of coastline was battered by winter storms in February 2014. Until 1844, the Devon/Cornwall county boundary ran between the villages, with Cawsand in Cornwall and Kingsand in Devon. Date: 13th April 2014. ...

The Folly, Mount Edgcumbe Number of views as of 8th March 2018 = 460. The Folly stands sentinel overlooking Plymouth Sound and the city of Plymouth (Devon, England). The Folly itself is actually located in Cornwall (Mount Edgcumbe Country Park on the Rame Peninsula to be more precise). It was built in 1747 using medieval stone from a couple of churches which once stood in the Stonehouse district of Plymouth. I was inspired to seek out this lovely spot for myself after seeing a shot of it a few years ago by fellow Red Bubble member Don Davis and it's been on my 'must visit' list ever since. Portwrinkle, Cornwall, September 2021 Portwrinkle is a small village on the south-east Cornwall coast between Plymouth and Looe. Traditionally a fishing village, Portwrinkle (or Porthwykkel) was involved in the pilchard industry in the 17th century. The fish were salted in cellars here before being exported to Mediterranean countries. This shot was taken looking eastwards past Finnygook Beach, towards Whitsand Bay and Rame Head on the horizon.
