Some things are just cheugy.

When my son and I took the underground tour of Battery Mishler, I took photos of lots of the old remnants for world war II equipment. It is all rusty and corroded with neglect, but still fascinating despite a fire that came through at one point and burned everything. This is the lower section of the power hoist, or what remains of it. As far as i can tell this is or was basically a big power box with wires running to and from it and probably had some switches or fuses in it at one point. All Products Tags

Iomega was founded in Roy, Utah in 1980 and for many years, the firm was a significant name in the data storage industry. Iomega's most famous product, the Zip Drive, was revolutionary as it offered relatively large amounts of storage on easily portable compact cartridges. The original Zip disk's 100MB capacity was a huge improvement over the 1.44MB limitation of floppy disks and were a fraction of the cost of similar disks like those from Syquest. The Zip Drive became a common internal and external peripheral, however, Zip Disk cartridges sometimes failed after a short period, (commonly referred to as the "click of death"). This problem, combined with increasing competition from CD-RW drives, caused Zip Drive sales to decline dramatically.

Since this Battery was used from before the Civil war, through world war I and into and beyond World War II, It was built in stages for various purposes. at one point someone built this ladder and then never completed or covered over where it was supposed to go…never dismantling the ladder.
