An Alley in the Albaicin, Granada Phone Case

The old, Moorish quarter of Granada, the Albaicin, needs to be explored on foot. Even the widest of the cobbled streets can only cope with one way traffic. The lovely, old buildings are fascinating but often you will also get a view of the Alhambra on the hill opposite in the background. By walking up and down the steep lanes though you will come across some wonderful street scenes to paint and draw but the narrowness of the alleys makes it difficult to compose a painting. This is the second painting I have done of one of these narrow alleys. The medium is watercolour The image size is 350mm x 250mm. The original painting has been SOLD to a collector in Alaska.
