Description: Altered Beast is a side-scrolling beat 'em up video game that landed in arcades in 1988 and was ported to gaming consoles and home computers shortly thereafter. The game is set in Ancient Greece and follows a player character chosen by Zeus to rescue his daughter Athena from the demonic ruler of the underworld, Neff. By collecting three power-ups in a level, the player character transforms into one of five magical beasts, including a weredragon, a werebear, a weretiger, a werewolf, or a golden werewolf. Each beast form grants its own abilities. The dragon can unleash lightning bolts and an electric barrier, the bear has a petrifying breath that turns enemies into stone, the tiger can throw fireballs in a zig-zag pattern, etc.
Description: Paperboy is a legendary 1985 arcade action game developed by Atari Games, where players take on the role of a BMX-riding paperboy delivering newspapers for The Daily Sun along a suburban neighborhood route. Players control one of three former police officers turned vigilantes who battle a crime syndicate. The original release establishes many conventions of the Streets of Rage series, such as two-player cooperative play and an acclaimed techno soundtrack. Streets of Rage maintains a following to this day, with many retro gamers either playing the real deal on vintage consoles (both 8 and 16-bit versions) or playing via unauthorized online ports.

Gameplay required the player to move the joystick or press the fire button at key moments in the animated sequences to decide the hero's actions. There is also the occasional option to either temporarily have the character transform into his adult form or remain as a boy with different styles of challenge. The arcade game was a commercial success in North America, but was unable to achieve the same level of success as its predecessors.
