Named after the Student Corps of Germanic university cities, and brewed in Covington, Kentucky, Student Prince Beer began brewing in 1933 after the end of Prohibition. The signature brew was a sparkling Amber ale produced in what was known as Baden style of brewers from Rhine River Valley wine country of Southwest Germany. The first ads for Student Prince called it the aristocrat of beverages, and the royalty of bottled beers. It was also described as a beer brewed for those who know good beer. Ads described a sparkling amber beer, made with toasted, or kiln dried hops, with a subtle hop flavor, and that it, despite the modern brewing equipment, was slowly aged in oak barrels, a signature of Baden style brewing.

When I came home from work I just saw the clouds of the upcoming thunder storm and the bright sun, and I knew I had to go to take some photos. The pictures were taken in Hagnau, Germany from a restaurant’s jetty towards the village’s jetty where tourists boats stop to load and unload passengers (as you cann see in the picture). I just wanted to show a friend some features of Photoshop when this picture "happened". I just took an interesting Lake Constance photo, added some layers with different colors and highlighted the lake surface. That's it. The result was surprisingly good (at least in my opinion), much more interesting than the original - that's why I did upload it here. Looking towards Romanshorn on the Swiss shore of the Lake Constance from a small hill near Immenstaad early in the morning. On the hill itself there are many grape orchards. The picture was taken in Hagnau, Germany. It shows the west harbor of the village - mainly used by sailing boats. There is also a pedal boat renting facility there. Although Lake Constance is a lake - where you can usually see the opposite shore, in this case Switzerland - there are days that gives you the imagination of standing at the edge of an silent ocean with a endless horizon.
