Gatorgum Phone Cases - iPhone and Android
Description: In 1970, Stokely-Van Camp produced a thirst quenching chewing gum, marketing it as Gatorgum. The gum was manufactured by Fleer (the baseball card people), and was available in both lemon-lime and orange flavors. The gum was invented with the intention of offering 'hydration enhancement' and the 'prevention of dry mouth,' though there is no information that the gum did either of these things. Regardless, people loved the gum, though its popularity began waning in the late '70s, though lucky for Gatorgum fans, an ill timed long term manufacturing contract ensured the gum was still made until the late '80s. Like clockwork, the gum was discontinued when the contract expired in 1989, and slowly began disappearing from store shelves.
