I intended to digitally alter the colours on this to some current fashion colours for 2020/2021, but I was feeling a little jealous of the 1% at the time (12 Sep 2020) I was creating, and this happened instead. This is the original colour of the work and is my own frustrated twist on a a well known old saying. I will put up some differently coloured versions as well, because I like the textured patterning and think it will look good on cushions etc. The textured background was painted done with acrylic paints and medium and for this I digitally added text.

By some accounts California cows are happier cows, but are they? Is the grass really greener in California? I think not. Most people see the positive side of things when looking at others situations, but only negatives in theirs. Change may seem desirable, but always keep in mind, you have to take the good with the bad in any situation.
