From the series “Small things”. Oil, pencil and charcoal on paper. Original size> 30 x 30 cm. 2012. My house is full of little things. An infinity of unnecessary items accumulated over the years, that stay there, without a reason and without a purpose. Sometimes I not even remember where they come from, where I bought them, or who has donated them to me. But now they have achieved a small space, a place above a cabinet, inside a drawer, on a library shelf, or hidden at the bottom of a closet, and they defend that place fiercely, stubbornly. They don’t want to leave, claiming their right to survive, pretending that I feel an affection for them, a bond that simply doesn’t exist. I avenge with these portraits, which reveal their uselessness, their fragility, and the ability that I could, if I really would, to get rid of them all, forever. I want to show their true face, which is inconsistent. They are an empty and weak shell, so that their own shadow is heavier than themselves. www.saatchiart.com/ico71

Art made by me! _______________________________________________ I can relate and love this character now because I have my own overpowered persona (Sapphirus), but at first I didn't like Beerus because he seemed like an asshole who might potentially ruin my fav DB characters (especially making Vegeta act the way he did), but as I seen his character develop, and him actually gaining some merciful personalities not to destroy their planet Earth, I slowly started liking him and especially since he got stuck with consequences if he endangered them, besides losing the best food he tasted out of all planets in his jurisdiction. **SPOILERS**** . . . . . . . . . . I loved when he killed Zamasu, he actually stepped in and helped the DB characters with a dangerous situation that would harm their future, and that, makes a kickass Deity character. I love him and Whis's meddling in episode 59 LOL! It's cool to know Beerus can sense ppl wanting to commit death upon others.
