Hold Your Hand Phone Cases - iPhone and Android
Description: This painting is from 2005. My art became much simpler mostly because I didn't have as much time to overthink things. Not intended to be political just something that came together. I wanted to say something about the dark matter of the universe but I'm not that versed in science.
Description: A humorous western-themed graphic playing on a classic cowboy idiom. The weathered design features a hand firmly gripping a lariat lasso rope tied into a distinct knot, which frames the negative space silhouette of a horse head. Flanking the central illustration are a minimalist horseshoe and saguaro cactus icon. Stacked boldly on top is the phrase "HOLD YOUR HORSES" in a heavily distressed, retro slab-serif font. Styled in a muted vintage palette of dusty slate blue and mauve pink, this flat-vector layout offers a rugged, country lifestyle aesthetic.
