This picture turned out amazing. I snapped it on a camping trip to Big Lagoon State Park in Pensacola Florida. This was a beautiful park and I would highly recommend it if you are ever in the area. I am not affiliated with the park or the state of Florida at all. Just think it's a cool area.

In 1348 the Bubonic Plague arrived in Venice and Poveglia, like many other small islands, became a quarantine colony. In the late 1800s, the area's mentally ill resided in an asylum in Poveglia.
