Then we learned it merely reflects the light it's given. Much like us. We reflect the light we're given as well. When someone gives us kindness and love, we reflect that back to them. Sometimes the light we shine is bright and full and other times...its dwindles to a small sliver. Or perhaps there is no light at all. We've all been in that place. But like all things, the light always returns. The darkness is not permanent.
