A late afternoon walk with my dog allowed me to catch some of the last rays of sunshine breaking through the trees while walking on a very old footpath that may have been there 2000 years ago (we have a Roman bridge nearby that goes back that long). There is something special about bright green new foliage in the Spring. Oh.. it is a cat.. stopping for a moment to see who is coming and she turned and ran away... April 2017, iPhone 7plus

This beautiful curving path guides walkers through magnificent ancient rainforest to a once-popular attraction, that was closed and fenced off due to storm damage years ago.
