Description: In the '60s, chromed factory steel wheels had taken the shows and streets by storm. Fat-fendered radical customs with their chopped tops, sectioned bodies and other extensive modifications were falling out of favor, with radically painted late model cars now dominating the world of customs. It was around this time that several manufacturers saw that an affordably priced custom wheel was something that the hot rod and custom world desperately needed. Gardenia, California's Astro Custom Wheels was one of the many builders who threw their hat into the ring, making wheels that were equal parts show and go, so you could cruise the boulevard on Friday night, but tear up the quarter mile on Saturday morning.
Description: Bill Casler owned Casler Tire Service in Ontario, California where he was a pioneer in creating street legal racing tires by way of custom recaps. These tires would later become known as cheater slicks or more precisely, Casler Cheater Slicks. His signature molds would go on to be THE tires to run in the popular Super Stock racing circuits as well as with hardcore hot rodders and street racers. This design is an homage to Casler's original low-fi logo and a perfect throwback for any motorsports aficionado that knows their stuff. Race on!

Description: Back in the mid '40s, racers and hot rodders Red Wilson and Tony Capana joined forces to start a speed shop in Los Angeles. They called it WILCAP – the first three letters of their last names – and before too long, their shop was well known by gear heads in So Cal and beyond thanks to their innovative products and extensive mail order catalog. In addition to distributing a wide array of speed parts, WILCAP was probably best known for their machining their own line of custom flywheels, transmission adapters, and engine hardware. Eventually, WILCAP was also the place to get nitromethane and alcohol fuels. They made their own custom blends and sold them by the gallon and by the barrel, making getting out to the track that much easier.
