Logo shirt in black ink. The logo signifies one eye made of a cross meaning we keep our eye on the cross. The character doesn't have a mouth that means we should only speak what the Bible speaks and be silent on what the Bible is silent on.

The five solas are five Latin phrases popularized during the Protestant Reformation that emphasized the distinctions between the early Reformers and the Roman Catholic Church. The word sola is the Latin word for “only” and was used in relation to five key teachings that defined the biblical pleas of Protestants. They are: 1. Sola scriptura: “Scripture alone” 2. Sola fide: “faith alone” 3. Sola gratia: “grace alone” 4. Solus Christus: “Christ alone” 5. Soli Deo gloria: “to the glory of God alone”

This unique design features a Gothic cross with tribal inlays on the surface. Rough textures and natural gray colors give the pattern the look of being made of stone or rock. A large decorated circle appears behind the symbol in the spirit of Celtic crosses. The symbol sits against a rough cracked background which gives the design an aged and weathered look. This beautiful design is a stylish example of this ancient Religious symbol.

This design was inspired by Isaiah 25:8 - "He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people's disgrace from all the earth. The Lord has spoken." Sometimes it can be difficult to understand scripture, especially when we come to apocalyptic language such as in Isaiah or Revelation. With that in mind, I zeroed in on the phrase "[God] will swallow up death forever." Death is something that many of us fear. Indeed the many personifications of death, such as the Grim Reaper, can put a face to the dread that we experience when thinking of our own mortality. The text informs us, however, that God is more powerful than Death. For God to swallow up Death forever made me think of the phrase "I eat punks like [Death] for breakfast!" That's how I got to the idea of creating a cereal box logo. It is a cute and amusing way to communicate hope for a future without Death, tears or pain.
