Sleeper is a 1973 futuristic comic science fiction film, written by Woody Allen and Marshall Brickman, and directed by Allen. The plot involves the adventures of the owner (played by Woody Allen) of a health food store who is cryogenically frozen in 1973 and defrosted 200 years later in an ineptly-led police state. The film contains many elements which parody notable works of science fiction.

Hand drawn with technical pen, scanned and coloured. I love the book DUNE so have tried to do an homage to it. The hand in the box is where Paul faces the Gom Jabbar and the pain inducer, which he overcomes. Other details include the second moon of arrakis where he gets his name Muad’dib, in the craters of this moon i have alluded to the shape of a desert jerboa which it is named after. Also it is raining, which Paul Atreides makes happen on the desert world Arrakis. Obviously there are fremen and sandworms. I have added the emblam of the Atreides house, a red hawk to the scroll. The main character is wearing a desert survival suit, has a wierding voice module weapon and has the blue on blue eyes of the Fremen, caused by proximity to the spice melange. Any comments and suggestions are welcome.

Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, R.D. Trucking was Martin "Rubber Duck" Penwald's owner/operator trucking business. This is a variation on the original artwork as seen on Rubber Duck's black Mack RS-712LST in the legendary 1978 film, Convoy.
