Description: Deputy Dawg is an animated series produced by Terrytoons that ran from 1960 to 1964. The series focused on the titular Deputy Dawg, an anthropomorphic canine deputy sheriff in Florida, although as episodes progressed, the location changed to Mississippi, and later to Tennessee. Most of the storylines involve Deputy Dawg pursuing local miscreants Muskie Muskrat, Ty Coon, and Vincent van Gopher for petty crimes.
