The circular academy patch of navy, burgundy, and grey are indicative of traditional academy learning institutions. How else are we credible? The Sock & Buskin Greek tragedy masks represent how we wear our egos throughout our lives. We move from interaction to interaction, changing who we are to remain acceptable to avoid external judgment. Tragedy and comedy exist in tandem, as do the ups & downs of life, but both are needed to be whole. We must embrace both equally within ourselves to be able to bridge our internal divides as well as societal. The masks are encompassed in the Yin Yang symbol, representing the duality of the human experience and the need for both opposing forces for the whole to exist.
