The famous Baptistry Window in the new Coventry Cathedral, that rose from the ruins of the old, Medieval Cathedral , destroyed by German Bombers in the second world war. For those that do not know, and some don't, Coventry is a City in the Midlands, England. The window was designed by John Piper. It was completed in 1962. The new St Michael's Cathedral, built next to the remains of the old, was designed by Basil Spence. The selection of Basil Spence for the work was a result of a competition held in 1950 to find an architect for the new Coventry Cathedral; his design was chosen from over two hundred submitted.
