Simply uncomplicated Is a play on words and also an abstract aimed at breaking the disenfranchisement of non clinical geometric art. Probably an anti-thesis to Piet Mondriandan, Rothko, the Delaunay's and needless to say my hero's Cesar Manrique, Picasso and some artists unmentioned or not as well known. I've allowed traditional form and recognisable angles, shapes, slight tone and impasto..many of which are an anathma to pure colour and colorist demarcated format, ( ethicacy, perhaps ) even the contrast on the colour/color wheel between grey and red is muted.
