In 1921, the Aktienbrauerei was taken over by Beck & Co. The HAB brewery was closed in 1981. The original company premises on Hemelinger Bahnhofstrasse were used for a long time as a branch and distribution warehouse for Beck & Co. and as a bottling plant for Bremer Erfrischungsgetränke GmbH (concessionaire for Coca-Cola).
