Description: Captain Video and his Video Rangers was America's first science fiction television series. It aired on the DuMont Television Network from 1949 to 1955. Other well-known authors who occasionally wrote for the program included Isaac Asimov, Cyril M. Kornbluth, Walter M. Miller, Jr. and Robert Sheckley. The series is featured on an episodes of The Honeymooners, "TV or Not TV". Honeymooners character Ed Norton is a fan of the show.
