The Pacman Nebula (NGC 281) is a bright emission nebula and H-alpha region located in the constellation Cassiopeia, 9500 light years away from Earth. The Pelican Nebula (IC 5070) is the large hydrogen, sulfur and oxygen gas cloud in the constellation of Cygnus. The light from young energetic stars is transforming cold gas to hot and causing an effect of ionization. The nebula is 2,000 light years away from Earth.
