Description: Boys of Summer — the most celebrated collection of talent ever assembled in Brooklyn. Robinson. Campanella. Hodges. Reese. Snider. Furillo. Six names that defined an era of baseball and delivered the only World Series championship in Brooklyn history in 1955. Roger Kahn immortalized them in one of the greatest sports books ever written and their legacy has only grown with time — a team that played with passion, heart, and a dignity that made them beloved far beyond the borough that called them home. For everyone who has ever believed that some teams transcend the sport itself.
Description: Duke Snider jersey number 4 with facsimile autograph, based off the classic Brooklyn Dodgers game-worn jersey. The Duke of Flatbush was the power source of the Boys of Summer — a Hall of Famer, 1955 World Series champion, and the player Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle were constantly compared to in the great New York center field debate of the 1950s.
