Last year I did some encaustic paintings (wax paintings) in which I carved and embedded feathers. The original encaustic work is in red, gold and white, but to create this pattern I have photographed that work, duplicated it into a pattern and re-coloured it - this is the result.

Just a bit more fun using my encaustic cartoon elephants and some added text.

This started out as an absgract encaustic work (wax painting) in blue - I photographed it and then digitally altered it to create a totally different looking work.

This beautiful texture was inspired by different ethnic ornaments, Portuguese and Moroccan tiles, traditional oriental arabesques, classic Arabic shapes and elements from antique vitrage window. Geometric forms emphasize old and vintage look, whereas shades of vibrant and strong colors (purple, violet and orange) bring feelings of passion and joy into design. Azulejo looking pattern will look great on every surface!
