Description: Formed in London in 1976, Generation X (later known as Gen X) was an English punk rock band that released six singles that made the UK singles chart sand two albums that charted on the UK albums charts. This design is based on the Valley of the Dolls cover, the band's second studio album, released in 1979. The record was Generation X's second long-play release, and saw the band transitioning from its start in the London punk rock scene of the late-'70s into a more mainstream rock sound, with the incorporation of musical influences ranging from glam rock, progressive rock, and traditional American rock 'n roll.

Memento mori is the medieval theory and practice of reflection on mortality, especially as a means of considering the vanity of earthly life and the transient nature of all earthly goods and pursuits.
