The natural rocky arch of Trypitos, Paxos island, Ionian sea, Eptanisa ("Seven islands"), Greece. It takes about 15-20 minutes walk to get there, but it's surely worth it! In the background you can see Antipaxos island. Paxos and Antipaxos island belong to Corfu (Kerkyra) prefecture.

The "Fonissa" (or "Neraida") waterfall, very close to beautiful Mylopotamos, about a 10 minute walk, from the village (you 'll see signs) in Cythera island. If you like walking and a little bit of adventure, you can continue walking on the right side of the small river, following signs for watermills. You 'll reach to a renovated watermill. From that point if you follow some red and blue arrows, pass right beside 3 small lakes and about 20 old, ruined watermills and after a 30-40 minute walk, you 'll reach to a larger waterfall and a lake with crystal clear water (You'll aslo see a photo from there in the near future). Even in paradise, they have to fix the drains. In the village of Nimborio on the Greek Island of Halki, the work to upgrade the drainage system must go on, even at the height of the tourist season. Workmen, diggers and large trucks are tearing up the harbour front. The clock tower can be seen a little further up the hill. It does not work any more. These two pretty bays are on the Greek Island of Halki (Chalki). In the foreground is Pondamos Bay. Pondamos has a small sandy beach, with warm, shallow waters. Beyond that is the Bay of Nimborio with the mountains of Rhodes beyond that. In the centre of the shot you can see the Halki Cemetery Church, Ags. Soulas On the hill above the church you can see the three ruined windmills that stand guard above the village of Nimborio (the only settlement on the Island). On the left, just off the road, you can see the charming little church of Agioi Anargiroi. The village of Oia on the Island of Santorini. Houses, hotels and even a windmill are all crammed together on the hill. Santorini, Greece, is one of the southern most islands of the Cycladic group in the Aegean Sea.

Kefalonia is an island full of mystery and "peculiar" places. One of them is Mellisani cave, on the eastern part of the island, the first "cabriolet" cave i've seen in my life. Its roof collapsed after an earthquake some 5.000 years ago. You can make a small tour by small boat. The other strange thing about this cave is the water that's running through it, which is half "sweet" and half "salty". It is connected with another of the mysteries of the island. On the western part of the island, close to the town of Argostoli, there is a place called "Katavothres", where in some point the waters of a small creek, suddenly get "swallowed" by the ground. On the Greek Island of Halki (Chalki), there are many ruined houses like this one. The Islands population has declined from 4000 to just about 300 over the course of the last 50 years or so. What remains of the population has mostly moved to Nimborio, the only remaining village on the Island. Many stones from the abandoned houses have been used to build the houses of Nimborio. Tourism is thriving in Halki and many of the abandoned houses are being rebuilt to aid the tourist boom.
