This is a Kokeshi Geisha illustration in the style of the traditional Japanese Kokeshi folk dolls. They are exchanged amongst friends with written messages stored within them as tokens of friendship. This illustration is hand drawn and rendered in Illustrator with colorful vintage shades. This is a delicate and beautiful print for any room.

Kokeshi is traditional wooden dolls made for children. It has dozens of variations in faces, sizes and body patterns. Even it is categorized as dolls, it doesn't have both arms and legs. So I don't know how kids play with them!

The Moon is the mystery that dwells in our subconscious, it is the voice that speaks from the depths of our being, but it is also our ability to connect with intuition and inner wisdom.

Inspired by my extensive collection of both traditional and creative Kokeshi, blended with my love of nerd culture, I offer this design inspired by Fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Applejack from the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic animated series in the style of Japanese Kokeshi dolls by myself, Danica Bergagnini.

Sakura is a doll inspired by the Japanese Kokeshi dolls, mine are not exactly like the originals, they are just inspired and loosely based on them.

The energy of the Hierophant speaks of those aspects of life where we live in community, but sometimes this can lead to a certain dogmatism, is not an open aspect but one in which there are many restrictions.
