During production, the brothers fell into a sort of quarrel, with Dave Fleischer (who's signature is on this sheet) resigning just a month before Bug's release. For unknown reasons (though the second world war ramping up didn't help), the film flopped upon release. However over time it's been considered a cult classic, and has been one of Hayao Miyazaki's favorite films for decades. This shirt's graphic is the model sheet used for one of the main characters, Honey Bee. Specifically this was used to keep her head on model for animators as a reference.
