Lou Barlow Pins and Buttons
Description: Dinosaur Jr. is an American rock band formed in Amherst, Massachusetts, in 1984. Originally called Dinosaur, the band was forced to change their name. The band was founded by J Mascis (guitar, vocals, primary songwriter), Lou Barlow (bass, vocals), and Murph (drums). After three albums on independent labels, the band earned a reputation as one of the formative influences on American alternative rock. Creative tension led to Mascis firing Barlow, who later formed Sebadoh and Folk Implosion. His replacement, Mike Johnson, came aboard for three major-label albums. Murph eventually quit, with Mascis taking over drum duties on the band's albums before the group disbanded in 1997.
Description: Somewhere between a wall of blown-out amplifiers and a field of forgotten wildflowers, the fuzz never really fades. Flowers in the Feedback is a strange little tribute to the gloriously imperfect world of Dinosaur Jr. — where J Mascis's soaring guitar distortion meets slacker-era melancholy, underground rock, and the beautiful chaos of American indie music. Made for the record-store wanderers, vintage pedal obsessives, and anyone who still believes the best guitar solos sound a little broken.

Description: The Folk Implosion is an American band founded in the early 1990s by Lou Barlow and John Davis. It was initially a side-project started by Barlow to explore different territory than that being canvassed with his primary band at the time, Sebadoh. The name is a play on the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.
