A constellation is a group of stars that appear to be close together but are actually very distant from each other. Many ancient civilizations drew imaginary lines between these stars and created virtual silhouettes in the sky. And with them great mythological stories. According to legend, it is about the king of Arcadia, Lycaon, who was transformed into a wolf as punishment for his extreme cruelty since he killed almost all of his children.

She was sent by Zeus to take the beautiful young mortal Ganymede to Mount Olympus to serve as cupbearer for the gods. According to other versions, it was Zeus himself who transformed into an eagle. In Hinduism, the constellation Aquila is identified with the half-eagle and half-human deity of Garuda.
