The Old Ship Inn at Heybridge Basin, near Maldon, Essex. A welcoming pub looking out onto a picturesque location next to river lock. You can enjoy home made food, served by a friendly team. Certainly worth a visit, but be prepared for a short wait on food when the sun shines as this is when it is at it's busiest.. Taken on my iPhone 4S. used Snapseed app to add some contrast etc.

Heybridge Basin is a great location in Essex (near Maldon) for photography as you have water, boats and expansive skies. Even better when you get a rainbow! Taken on a Samsung NX11 with standard 20-50mm zoom. F13, 1/180 sec, ISO 100 at 20mm.
