Mental Illness Pins and Buttons
Description: I am learning that it’s important for me to not be critical of my old coping mechanisms and responses to triggers. They were the result of my body and brain trying to keep me safe. So, when I go into a fear response, or I feel myself being activated, I am trying to practice noticing but not judging. The old coping mechanisms aren’t needed anymore; I’m building a safer world for myself and learning new, healthier modes of being. It’s ok if I automatically reach for an old key, but I can work on putting it down, and picking up one of the new ones.
Description: Spoonie Slogan Shirts! Answering all those annoying and commonly asked questions that you don't have the energy to answer. Can be used as a short, simple and stylish ice breaker at social events, a comfortable inside joke to wear at home or just a huge middle finger to the world... it all depends on the general mood of the day.
Description: We're still fighting to normalize mental health. It's such a common issue among many people around the world, yet many of those people (including myself) still feel uncomfortable/insecure about their struggles because of society. It's okay to not be okay. This design is available in more colors :)

Description: Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.
Description: Society and governments treats mental health and physical health so differently. There should be no difference in the perception, recognition and treatment of mental illness. Illness is illness and our psyche is part of our bodies. Why would a psychological screening not be covered when a physical screening is?
