H. P. Lovecraft wrote many weird tales. In several, Lovecraft created the fictional character Abdul Alhazred, and then had him write The Necronomicon, a magical book that doesn't exist! Celebrate literary history because reading is fundamental. Wear this one to your library to make the librarian smile.

To honor all of my favorite monsters of movieland I've been knocking out these pulp inspired monster heads. The Necronomicon Ex Mortis, the book of the dead, bound in human flesh and inked in blood. Come on, has there ever been a cooler book ever? Ash wants it. The Deadites want it. Now you want it!!!

Reading is Fun

Reading a book can lead to so many great adventures. From learning about different countries to accidentally resurrecting soul-devouring Kandarian demons, reading is so much fun!

My third horror themed simplified watercolour piece. This time I focused more on colour and bleeding to create a semi-abstract piece.

1981's Evil Dead is an American supernatural horror film centered around five friends who travel to a cabin in the woods, where they unknowingly release flesh-possessing demons by way of the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis, an ancient Sumerian text which wreaks havoc upon them all.
