The Nissan Pathfinder (known as Terrano outside of North America) is a sports-utility vehicle, initially based on the D21 Hardbody pickup truck, with a five-link coil spring suspension in the rear to offer better off-road performance. Initially offered as a two-door SUV, in 1990 most production was switched to a four-door as many owners were using the Pathfinder as a family vehicle.
