The Order marks St. Patrick's Day (March 17) with a raucous dinner. Members wear a sash in the colors of the Irish flag at official functions. In 1919 the dinner featured an address by the Attorney General. In 1920 the dinner is brought to an early close when it is raided by prohibition agents. ("Nights in Ballygran")
