Description: A design dedicated to Louis-Ferdinand Céline, one of the most singular and groundbreaking voices in 20th-century European literature. Author of masterworks such as Journey to the End of the Night (Voyage au bout de la nuit) and Death on the Credit Plan (Mort à crédit), Céline revolutionized narrative syntax by replacing traditional punctuation with his iconic three dots. This conceptual typographic design honors his syncopated rhythm, oral cadence, and visceral prose structure—where the ellipsis acts as a fundamental element of style, breath, and narrative pace. Designed for readers of modernist literature, existentialism, art-house cinema, and minimalist typography.

Description: For this hand-carved block carving I have recreated an original image from the Icelandic medieval manuscript of the Prose Edda. This image based on one from the Uppsala manuscript, Codex Upsaliensis. Here the king of Sweden, Gylfi, is speaking to three persons-- High, Just-As-High, and Third. In the manuscript he questions them and they provide a variety of answers for Gylfi about Norse mythology and the Norse gods. I have printed this block by hand before scanning it to make this design.
Description: Another jewel by American poet and writer Emily Dickinson (1830-1886). Her writing was extraordinary in that it elucidated the limitations of society and yet revealed subtle truths in how to overcome them - in spirit if not in material. It’s a good quote for spider webs in roses. . .
