Rasputina Pins and Buttons

One of my favorite bands is Rasputina. One of my favorite songs (out of many) is Oh! Bring Back The Egg Unbroken. The result of loving that song for me is this picture.

So few live to tell the tale, but they say nothing is lovelier than a Vampires' Masquerade. Beginning at nightfall with hundreds of candles spiking the inky darkness, they swish and they swirl in their crimson velvets and dark whispering satins in garden terraces of exotic black flowers to haunting waltzes and breathtaking tangos. Lovely Rasputina is the undisputed Queen of the Undead Ball - if you can win a second dance with her, your immortality is assured. This original collage was constructed of walnut ink stained vintage images, found text and art paper on a Strathmore photo mount card and accented with dresden trim, glitter, satin ribbon and a crystal.
