Sark Bus Number of views as of 5th June 2017 = 400. There are no cars on the Channel Island of Sark, but tractors are allowed, as are bicycles and horse-drawn carts. Visitors to the island who can't make the long trek uphill from the harbour to the village centre do make use of the 'Sark Bus', which is basically a covered trailer towed by one of the island's tractors as shown here. Sark is just over 2 square miles in area and has a population of around 600 people, swelled during the summer months by visitors who arrive chiefly from the neighbouring island of Guernsey. Sark Venture is one of the ferries that operate between the Channel Islands of Guernsey and Sark, pictured here at St Peter Port harbour on Guernsey. Cutty Sark is a British clipper ship. Built on the Clyde in 1869 for the Jock Willis Shipping Line, she was one of the last tea clippers to be built and one of the fastest, coming at the end of a long period of design development which halted as sailing ships gave way to steam propulsion.

The video game popularized by the Tron-inspired TV show, AUTOMAN!

Built and launched in Scotland in 1869, she carried tea from China to London between 1870 and 1877. By the 1880s, she was carrying wool from Australia. That's when her reputation for speed was achieved. Taking advantage of the high speed winds along the route from Australia that sailors call the "roaring trades", she set a record of 73 days on the Sydney to London Route.

The window in the rock is a square hoile cut in a rock face, giving wonderful cliff views. The window was cut by Rev William Cummings who became Seigneur of Sark in 1853. He was keen on improving the number of visitors to the island
