Description: Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) is an American public broadcaster and non-commercial television network that launched in 1970. Based in Arlington, Virginia, PBS is a major source of educational programs for public television stations in the U.S. Operating as a private, nonprofit corporation comprised of local public TV stations across the U.S., its programming is produced by member stations, independent producers, and other entities, rather than a central production arm. PBS aims to educate, inspire, and entertain through high-quality programming covering news, science, history, and the arts. This is the logo design that was used between 1971 and 1984, which is probably of the most memorable ones.
