Shivers Pins and Buttons
Description: Something’s gone terribly wrong at the Somafree Institute of Psychoplasmics, where, through intense psychological role playing Dr. Hal Raglan (Oliver Reed) has been encouraging troubled clients to manifest their repressed emotions and desires as fleshy, distinctly Cronenbergian excrescences that soon appear on their skin. The case of prized-patient Nola (Samantha Eggar), a troubled woman with monstrous mommy issues, however, has become particularly worrying: It appears Nola’s deep-seated rage has begun taking on unexpected—and homicidal—forms.
Description: Shivers by Ed Sheeran, drawn from its own data. The record in the middle is the song itself: its spectrum, beats and sections, 141 BPM in D major. Around it, one year of Spotify chart history: 364 days on the global chart, peaking at #4. Its lines trace the run in 62 countries. Certified RIAA 2× Platinum, BPI 5× Platinum and Music Canada Diamond, in 15 countries in all. A gift for music lovers and data fans.
