Description: During the Cold War the SMLM operated ion West Germany and the USMLM (US Military Liaison Mission) operated in East Germany due to an agreement between the western allies and the Soviets during WWII. SMLM activity was to be reported whenever noted and these cards were supposed to be carried at all times.
