Description: Saturn was a startup car brand founded in 1985 to compete with imported economy cars. Vehicle production began in 1990 in a plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Saturn initially offered small sedans and coupes with a focus on no-haggle pricing and innovative dent-resistant plastic body panels. Sold between 1991 and 2010, Saturn expanded its product line to include SUVs, a minivan, and a roadster, and built up a fiercely loyal following. Enthusiasts held regular meet-ups and events, the largest of which was the 'Saturn Homecoming,' a large event held in Spring Hill, Tennessee, in 2000, where Saturn owners from across the country gathered to celebrate their vehicles and the brand, with many traveling in caravans.
