Classic logo for the north-american alternative cult band Hüsker Dü. Back in the 80's Husker Du were part of the american underground movement pioneers along bands like Black Flag, Wipers or R.E.M. One of the most important bands of the groundbreaking indie label SST, Husker Du blended punk-rock and hardcore aggression with pop melodies in what lot of people think was the first steps for the alternative rock and indie-rock that was coming with later bands like Nirvana or Pavement. The ultimate power of the trio and much probably the cause of its dead was the talent behind two highly competitive songwriters, Bob Mould and Grant Hart, both of them capable of make songs out of urgency and melodic sensibility. This is Husker Du logo.

Mashup based in the north-american alternative cult punk band Hüsker Dü. There's not much official merch and the band doesn't exist for decades, so I thought I could create some new of my liking. Hüsker Dü was a band famous for having two excellent songwriters with different styles that wrote awesome songs: Bob Mould and Grant Hart. So I thought I could make a bootleg design for each one of them, so you can choose your favourite Hüsker Dü songwriter. This is Grant Hart's version and you can notice it by the words Dont' Want To know if you are Lonely, the name of one of his most famous songs written for Husker Du.

New Alliance Records was an independent record label founded by American musicians D. Boon and Mike Watt (of The Minutemen) and longtime friend and associate Martin Tamburovich. They were inspired by the example of their friends in southern California band Black Flag who had earlier formed SST Records. The existence of SST led Watt to understand, according to a 1987 interview he gave to Musician magazine, how easy it was to get a record made: "All you had to do was pay the record plant man."

Black Flag was an influential hardcore punk band from Los Angeles led by Greg Ginn, that had singers like Henry Rollins, Dez Cadena or Keith Morris. They founded the SST indie label were pioneers of the american underground along with Minor Threat, Bad Brains or Hüsker Dü among others.

Cruz Records was an offshoot record label of SST Records, owned by the Black Flag guitarist Greg Ginn. The label was founded in 1987. Its roster consisted mainly of pop punk and grunge bands, along with Ginn's solo records. The label has remained inactive since the mid-1990s although the pieces of its back catalog that are still in print are still available through SST Records.

Big Black was an influential noise rock, punk and posthardcore band led by Steve Albini, famous producer (Pixies, Nirvana, Neurosis, PJ Harvey...) and later frontman of Shellac. They are known for their aggressive and confrontational sound that blended elements of punk, noise, and industrial rock. This design is a perfect homage to the band's legacy, capturing the irreverent and rebellious spirit that defined their music. The design takes inspiration from the iconic bootleg t-shirt from Fugazi and plays with the band's name in a witty and subversive way. The phrase "This is not a BIG BLACK tshirt" is printed in bold letters, creating a striking contrast against the black background of the t-shirt.
