I enjoyed an early morning walk on Bourbon Street and other French Quarter Streets nearby while there were no crowds. We had enjoyed music here the previous afternoon with a live band performing. Musical Legends Park is centrally located on Bourbon Street in the French Quarter of NOLA. The Park is a tribute to New Orleans Musical Legends and includes a series of commemorative displays, plaques and artwork. The sculptures seen here are the great Fats Domino, Al Hirt and Pete Fountain. Musicians are invited to play for outdoor audiences and the performances are free to the public. The "13Th Skull" represents the unifying force that connects all the worlds in the galaxy. It is said that the 13 skulls were kept in a pyramid called: "The Ark". The crystal skulls were kept in a circle and each one belonged to a different sacred planet. This is my understanding of the legend that crosses over many cultures. My Painting is symbolizing the 13th skull flying through space. Created with acrylic paint, gallery canvas and spraypaint, this artwork is a one of a kind original painting.
